Monitoring primarily shortens detection and response times for anomalies involving accounts, endpoints and connected systems. Continuity also depends on segmentation, recovery procedures and redundancy across WMS, TMS and order processes.
This is possible for systems that provide usable logs, network data or security signals. The precise coverage of WMS, TMS, scanners and warehouse automation is therefore established technically in advance.
Supply chain risk often lies in API integrations, VPN access, service accounts and shared credentials. Monitoring can detect anomalous use, but clear access rights, segmentation and regular supplier reviews are also required.
Out-of-hours handling is defined in the selected service and SLA. With 24/7 monitoring, relevant signals are validated and escalated to the appropriate person through the agreed escalation path.
Where technically possible, existing tooling can remain in use as a data source. During the intake, we assess which integrations provide sufficient context and where configuration, additional logging or other coverage is needed.
Monitoring, incident logging and reporting support demonstrable risk management and incident follow-up. NIS2 compliance also requires governance, policies, supply chain management and appropriate organisational measures.
