An implementation always begins with an intake and a baseline assessment of your current security environment. Based on this, Aumatics develops an architecture recommendation, including product selection and migration strategy. Once approved, a phased rollout follows: from test environment to production, with attention to minimal disruption of your business processes. After going live, Aumatics handles user communication and training, and a management contract is agreed for structural maintenance and monitoring. On average, a complete Firebox or AuthPoint implementation takes two to six weeks, depending on environment complexity.
Yes. Aumatics offers WatchGuard management as a fully managed service. This includes proactive management of firewall policies, firmware updates, licence management, monthly security reporting, and — for clients with TDR or EPDR — active monitoring and incident response. Clients with an Aumatics MSP contract have 24/7 access to our support team and benefit from guaranteed response times during incidents. You retain full visibility at all times via a client portal.
Absolutely. Aumatics has extensive experience with migrations from environments by vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, SonicWall, and Sophos. We perform a configuration inventory, translate existing rules into WatchGuard policy, and ensure a parallel test phase before cutover. This keeps the risk of production issues to a minimum. For endpoint security (from Symantec, CrowdStrike, Trend Micro, or Microsoft Defender), we also provide a structured migration including policy transfer.
